Northwest EMS Has Toys for Tots Drive

The Northwest EMS has kicked off the 2019 Toys for Tots collection, which will run through Nov. 1 until Dec. 11.

They will be collecting new and unwrapped toys on behalf of the Marine Corps Reserve.

If you own/operate a business and would like to have a collection box as part of the collection, contact Community Outreach Manager, Lori Shenk, at lshenk@nwems86. org. Visit the Toys For Tots® website for more information: toysfortots.org.

Northwest EMS will provide the box and collect the toys, help with promotion and advertising, and handle the delivery of the toys to the distribution warehouse.

Toys For Tots accepts toys for children from toddler through the teen years. Toys for older children/teens might include:

• Sporting equipment, skateboards, helmets, balls

• Books

• Back Packs

• Cosmetics • Purses, wallets, watches

• Board games

• Radio controlled cars/ trucks

• Hand-held electronics

• Curling irons, hair straighteners, hair dryers

If you would like to donate toys to Toys For Tots, you will find collection boxes placed by Northwest EMS in the following locations:

• Northwest EMS station in Manheim

• Northwest EMS station in Elizabethtown

• East Donegal Township Municipal Lobby

• Brickerville Fire Company Bingo hall (Tuesday evenings only)

• Esbenshade’s Garden Center (all locations)

• Manheim Santa Run (registration office or at First Aid)

• Masonic Villages Farm Market

• Manheim Library

•Elizabethtown Library

• Two Cousins – Manheim

• Special Community Events (as advertised)

• Fairview Golf Club Pro Shop
