A 1-year-old boy was taken to Hershey Medical Center as a precaution after sustaining very minor injuries when he was struck by a minivan at Elizabethtown’s Center Square, police said.
The child was evaluated at the hospital and released, Police Chief Ed Cunningham said.
The crash happened at about 3:45 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1, when the child, who was not in a vehicle, was struck by a red Dodge Caravan. The Caravan was the only vehicle involved.
Several witnesses gave first aid on the scene and cooperated with the investigation, Cunningham said. The investigation into the cause of the accident continues.
