Letter to the Editor: Thanks to All Who Helped ECHOS With Winter Shelter

As the first buds begin to bloom and temperatures rise, for many that’s a signal of the changing seasons, but for Elizabethtown Community Housing & Outreach Services, it signals the end of another winter shelter season.

This season, we were once again supported by countless community volunteers, businesses and organizations. Whether individuals volunteered once or multiple days a week for 17 weeks, all contributions were instrumental in the successful operations of the winter shelter. It takes a village, and ECHOS has certainly found theirs in the people who have answered the call to action.

To each of you who volunteered your time at the shelter, gave donations of items, prepared food, or helped move guests into homes, ECHOS sends our heartfelt thanks. We know that the work that we do would not be possible without the support of our community! Thank you for walking alongside us so that we may serve individuals and families in need to assist them in reaching their goals.
