‘Company’ to Be Staged in Marietta

Susquehanna Stage Company will present Stephen Sondheim’s award-winning musical “Company” May 10 through 19 at the Marietta Center for the Arts, 133 W. Market St., Marietta.

“Company” revolves around the character of Bobby, a 35-year-old man with no shortage of friendships. His inner circle consists of his 10 closest friends, made up of five married couples: Each couple has its quirks and flaws, but Bobby values each of their friendship dearly. The audience can expect to see very realistic chemistry between the
onstage couples as most of them are played by real-life married or engaged couples.

Though the show is lighthearted and entertaining, it is also thought-provoking and meaningful, and challenges the audience to reconsider what is important in their own relationships.

The show is directed by Jim Johnson, choreographed by Jill Gagliano, and music directed by Sharon Boyer Tickets to “Company” can be purchased at susquehannastageco.com or by calling the box office at 717-426-1277. Parking is in the rear of the Marietta Center for the Arts.
