Two Men Accused of Sexual Abuse of Minors; Convenience Store Robbed

Two Elizabethtown men accused of sexual abuse of minors are facing felony charges in unrelated cases. In other local crime news, police are looking for an unidentified man who robbed an Elizabethtown convenience store.

Police said they got an allegation on Oct. 11 that Michael Zukowski Sr., 37, of Kenbridge Lane, had committed sexual misconduct towards a minor. Police said the minor told investigators that Zukowski had sexual contact with her and that she asked him to stop and it became nonconsensual. Police said further investigation revealed that another child had entered the room and allegedly witnessed some of the sexual conduct. Police said it happened on the afternoon of Aug. 23. Zukowski is charged with aggravated indecent assault, a felony of the second degree; unlawful contact with a minor, a felony of the third degree, among other charges.

In another matter, police said they got an allegation against Richard D. Bridgman, 69, of Iris Circle. The minor told police that Bridgman had sexual contact with her on the evening of Oct. 20 in Elizabethtown. Her statements were supported by other evidence, police said. Bridgman is charged with aggravated indecent assault, a felony of the second degree; unlawful contact with a minor, a felony of the second degree, among other charges.

Police are also looking for an unidentified man who reportedly robbed the One Stop convenience store at the Sunoco station at 550 E. High St., Elizabethtown. The robbery was reported on the afternoon of Monday, Nov. 20. Police are looking for a black man with a thin build who is about 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-7; he was wearing black hooded clothing with a black backpack and fled in a silver Ford Explorer. He used a handgun during the robbery, police said. Police urged anyone who sees the man to call 911.
