Janlle Garber (left), Michael Sernoffsky (middle) and Jenna Ahern (right) were recognized for their induction into the Elizabethtown Area High School Athletic Hall of Fame on Friday, Oct. 20, before Elizabethtown’s football game against Garden Spot.
Garber scored 1,190 points in her Elizabethtown basketball career. She was a Lancaster-Lebanon League All-Star and Co-MVP her senior year. She went on to score 1,092 at West Chester University before becoming Elizabethtown’s girls basketball coach from 2011-2013.
Senoffsky was Elizabethtown’s wrestling coach for 32 years (250-222-5) and won 28 sectional championships, 20 L-L championships and six District Three championships.
Ahern was a four-year starter for the Elizabethtown field hockey team and she was named a L-L Section One All-Star in 2004 and 2005. She was also named to the All-State team during her junior and senior seasons. In softball, Ahern was named a Section Two All-Star in 2005 and 2006. She went on to play field hockey at the nationally ranked University of Louisville for four years.
