Police Seek Public’s Help Finding Hit-Run Driver

Police are seeking the public’s help in finding a driver who struck a pedestrian downtown, leaving him seriously injured, then fled the scene.

Police said it happened at about 9:25 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28. The man was crossing West High Street at Market Street when he was struck by a vehicle. He was taken to Hershey Medical Center for what police described as “very serious injuries.”

The vehicle that hit the man left the scene, going west on West High Street, police said. Witnesses told police it was an orange or red two-door vehicle. Police said the vehicle will have moderate to severe damage to the front end, hood and possibly the windshield.
