EAHS Students Place at Local STEM Competition

The team of Ashley Driesbach and Hannah Kline from Elizabethtown Area High School placed third in the 2018 Brossman Foundation and Ronald E. Frisbie Sr. Lectureship Program. Held at Millersville University, Driesbach and Kline competed against 16 teams from around the midstate in a competitive science, mathematics, and technology examination for sophomores and juniors.

In addition to the competition, the students had a chance to take part in laboratory demonstrations as well as hear from an expert in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics field. This year’s speaker was Sylvester James Gates Jr., a world-renowned theoretical physicist best known for his work in supersymmetry, supergravity, and superstring theory.
