A man serving prison time for sex abuse of a girl is now accused of abusing two other children.
The latest charges against Brian Timothy Morningstar, 44, were announced by the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office on Monday, Aug. 14. He was charged Aug. 9 with four counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, court records show. The district attorney’s announcement said the charges were about sex abuse of two boys between 2011 and 2013.
Morningstar lived in Elizabethtown at the time of the abuse, which began in 2011 when the boys were ages 7 and 3, according to the district attorney’s office.
A relative of the boys reported the abuse to police last year, and the boys provided details of what happened.
Morningstar was sentenced in 2014 to 8 to 20 years in prison for sex abuse of a girl. Andrew E. Spade, the lawyer who represented Morningstar in 2014, said he does not represent Morningstar on the latest charges and he did not know who Morningstar’s current lawyer is.
