Boothy’s BBQ has opened in downtown Elizabethtown with a menu that features beef brisket, pulled pork and chicken. The new restaurant at 28 S. Market St. also has nachos, fish tacos and salads, with a variety of vegan options.
Boothy’s BBQ is owned by Kevin Booth, who also operates food trailers and does catering. The new restaurant provides food for Funk Brewing, which has a taproom next to the restaurant.
Boothy’s BBQ has seating for around 30 and operates with a handful of employees.
Around the end of the month, Booth says he plans to start parking his food trailers right outside the restaurant on Fridays and Saturdays.
On Friday evenings, a food trailer will feature a variety of “comfort food” including chicken and gravy over mashed potatoes. On Saturdays, a food trailer will serve tacos.
Booth, who has been a chef for 40 years, also works part time at Annie Bailey’s in downtown Lancaster.
Boothy’s BBQ takes a space formerly occupied by the Pita Pit, which closed during the summer.
