Book Sale to Help Mount Joy Library

The Friends of Milanof-Schock Library in Mount Joy plans to hold its annual book sale at Donegal High School on Koser Road in Mount Joy. The event features loads of hardback and paperback books, as well as DVDs, and CDs. Those planning to attend are asked to bring their own shopping bags and boxes.

Preview night is Thursday, June 14, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with an admission of $10.

There is free admission on Friday, June 15, is from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, June 16, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Saturday is stuff a bag day for $5; the group urges people to bring their own bags and boxes.

A food stand is available.

The Friends of the Milanof-Schock Library is a group of enthusiastic volunteers who love the library and share apassion for its growth and development.

Its purpose is to maintain an association of persons interested in the growth and development of libraries; to focus attention on library services, facilities and needs, and to stimulate contributions through projects and special events. All proceeds from any fundraiser go directly to the library for anything the library may need to provide services and materials for its community.
